  • 2 cups Minute® Brown Rice
  • 1 lb beef flank steak, cut into strips
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 pkg (10 oz) frozen broccoli florets, thawed and drained
  • 1 can (8 oz) sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup dry roasted peanuts (optional)


  • This simple Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry is perfect for satisfying that takeout craving after a long day. Make your own Asian-inspired meal in just 20 minutes!

    Step 1

  • Prepare rice according to package directions.

    Step 2

  • Place steak strips in a medium bowl. Sprinkle with cornstarch; toss to coat.

    Step 3

  • Add orange juice and ginger; Stir until well blended.

    Step 4

  • Heat oil in a large, nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak mixture; Stir-fry for 4 to 5 minutes, or until steak is cooked through. Reduce heat to medium-low.

    Step 5

  • Add broccoli, water chestnuts and soy sauce; mix well. Cover; simmer for 5 minutes, or until thickened, stirring frequently.

    Step 6

  • Serve over rice; sprinkle with peanuts, if using.

  • To make slicing easier, place the steak in the freezer for 30 minutes to 1 hour before cutting it into strips.
