  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups Minute® Brown Rice
  • 2 cups frozen broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup salted peanuts (optional)

    Step 1

  • Heat oil in a large, nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; Cook, stirring for 5 to 7 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.

    Step 2

  • Stir in water, teriyaki sauce and garlic powder. Bring to a boil.

    Step 3

  • Stir in rice, broccoli and peanuts, if using. Cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.

    Step 4

  • Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve.
