Frozen Peas

Frozen peas are an excellent way to quickly and conveniently add greens to your cooking. Simply toss your frozen peas in the microwave and you’ll have them ready in no time. Other Ways of Preparing Shrimp

This recipe calls for shrimp that are cooked in the microwave. However, you can also cook shrimp on a skillet, as in this Cajun Shrimp Boil Rice recipe or in a Shrimp Jambalaya. Alternatively, if you are after a smoky flavor, you can try this All-In-One Shrimp Skewers With Grilled Rice recipe.

How to Juice a Lemon

If you don’t have any store-bought lemon juice available in the pantry you’ll need to juice your own lemons. The easiest way to do this is with a lemon juicer. Simply slice the lemon in half and press against the juicer until you have extracted all the juice you want. If you don’t have a juicer in your kitchen you can use a knife or fork, instead. If you are having trouble getting all the juice from a lemon, try putting it in the microwave for 15-20 seconds, this will soften the lemon making it easier to squeeze the juice out.
