Delicious & Satisfying

Don’t forget the cashews with this sweet and sour chicken recipe. Easy to make, comforting and delicious served over a bowl of hot Minute® Instant White Rice, we love this recipe enough to eat it several times a week!

Before you start cooking your rice, gather all the ingredients. This recipe combines tasty chunks of chicken, succulent pineapple, crunchy bell peppers and cherry tomatoes, to name a few. They get tossed in a sweet and savory mix of ginger, brown sugar and garlic salt.

Hoisin Sauce

We use hoisin sauce here to bring all of these tasty flavors together. This Asian sauce is a salty, sweet sauce made from fermented soy beans, vinegar, sugar and other flavorings. It’s usually used as a thick glaze or dipping sauce for meat or as an addition to stir-frys. It’s perfect to balance this Cashew Sweet and Sour Chicken dish with fluffy Minute® Instant White Rice and crunchy cashews.
