  • Prepare rice according to package directions. Let cool completely.

  • Meanwhile, heat 1 tbsp canola oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat; pour in beaten eggs. Cook, stirring frequently, for 3 to 5 minutes or until eggs are set and soft curds have formed. Transfer to plate.

  • Wipe pan clean. Increase heat to high. Stir in remaining canola oil and sesame oil; cook carrot, cabbage, green onion, garlic and ginger, stirring, for 2 to 3 minutes or until softened slightly. Stir in rice, chicken, salt, pepper and 5-spice powder; cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until well combined and starting to heat through. Stir in soy sauce, vinegar and water. Cover and cook for about 3 minutes or until rice is steaming hot. Stir in scrambled eggs.
