How to Make Buffalo Sauce

It’s actually very simple to make your own subtly spicy, creamy, home-made Buffalo sauce. All you need to do is mix together hot sauce, butter, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper and garlic powder. Then, heat the mixture until the butter is completely melted and the sauce begins to simmer. Stir to thoroughly combine and turn off the heat. Then, simply wait for the sauce to cool down before storing it in the fridge.

Other Uses for Buffalo Sauce

Buffalo sauce is mainly associated with chicken wings, but there are plenty of other ways to use it. For example, try mixing it with a Mac and Cheese recipe to add a spicy twist to an old classic. Alternatively, you can also add it to this Kimchi Vegetable Sushi recipe, along with some cooked chicken, for a cultural mashup beyond your wildest dreams. Finally, for a veggie friendly dish, make this Buffalo Cauliflower Casserole.

Make Breaded Chicken Tenders

You can make your own breaded chicken tenders at home if you don’t fancy doing a store run. The first thing you will want to do is pre-heat your oven to 400°F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or tin foil. Then, coat chicken tenders with flour before dipping them into egg beaten with a little water. Finally, coat each tender with bread crumbs. Then, cook the tenders until they are cooked through (165°F) and have a nice golden brown color on the outside.
