How to Make Your Own Breaded Chicken

Although you can buy your breaded chicken tenders from the supermarket, it’s not that difficult to make them yourself at home. With this method you can make a nice, crunchy bread coating that will stay put on your chicken no matter what.

Before cooking your chicken make sure that it is dry. Do this either by patting it down with paper towels or by leaving it in the refrigerator uncovered until it dries out. From there, season your chicken with salt and pepper then cover in flour. Next, dip the chicken in a bowl of beaten eggs. Once the chicken is coated with egg, you can cover it with breadcrumbs. For best results leave the coated chicken in the refrigerator for around 30 minutes before cooking.

A Taste of Barbecue

This recipe uses barbecue sauce for sweet, tangy flavor with a hint of spice. Barbecue sauce is great for adding sweet, sour, smoky and spicy flavors to any meal. For another recipe that uses barbecue sauce, try this BBQ Tempeh Ribs Rice Bowl.

How to Thaw out Frozen Corn

To thaw out your frozen corn you can put it into a strainer or a colander and run it under cool water until thawed. Alternatively, you can also put frozen corn into a resealable bag and submerge it in water until it has thawed. Thawed corn is great in plenty of recipes, like this Creamed Corn and Jalapeño Chicken Rice.
