Whisk together marmalade, orange juice and water in a medium saucepan over low heat.
Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer until syrupy and reduced by half, about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare rice according to package directions.
Add chicken, orange slices and peas to sauce, and stir to combine. Cook until heated through.
Serve chicken mixture over rice. Sprinkle with almonds, if using.
