Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F. Coat a 2-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 2
Mix milk, soup and peas in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Add rice and tuna; mix lightly. Spoon into prepared dish and sprinkle with cheese.
Step 4
Bake for 20 minutes, or until heated through.
If you prefer, use canned, drained peas in place of the frozen peas. Or, use another vegetable altogether.
You can also mix things up by substituting the Cheddar cheese with pepper Jack, mozzarella or another favorite.
Substitute your favorite condensed cream soup for the cream of mushroom soup.
