Don’t Forget the Feta!

Commonly found in Greek food, Feta cheese is a brined cheese that is often made of sheep’s milk. This crumbly block of cheese is salty, tangy and delicious, adding a tasty texture to many salads, rice dishes and more! You can even cut the block into thick slices and fry in a pan until it has a golden color, giving it even more flavor that you won’t be able to resist.

What is in Greek Seasoning?

The ingredients will vary depending on what Greek seasoning you use. You can typically find a selection of pre-mixed seasoning at your local grocery store, but you can also make your own! Greek seasoning has a mix of herbs like basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary, parsley and dill. Add in garlic and onion powder, and for the final touch- cinnamon and nutmeg. The cinnamon and nutmeg will give it that extra touch of authentic flavor to your mix.
