One of the best parts about making fried rice is that it calls for day-old rice! This recipe is ideal for revamping the leftovers from yesterday’s Chicken Piccata with Rice dinner. If you don’t have day-old rice on hand and you’re feeling like fried rice tonight, lay out your cooked rice on a baking sheet and let it cool. The key to amazing fried rice is to use cool rice so that it does not release any excess moisture and result in a mushy fried rice.
What about swapping rice varieties? We get it, you need to make dinner quick and you only have Minute® Instant White Rice on hand. No problem! This recipe works well with all of our varieties from jasmine to brown rice. Cook it up in just 5 minutes so you can get back to business.
