  • Heat oil in large nonstick skillet set over medium heat; saute mushrooms for about 5 minutes or until softened. Add chicken, garlic, salt and pepper. saute for about 5 minutes or until lightly browned.

  • Add broth and green beans; bring to boil. Stir in rice; cover and remove from heat. Let stand for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with basil before serving.


Recipe Tips

Change It Up: Replace chicken with cooked, chopped sausage, leftover roast beef or shrimp. Fresh Flavors: Add 1 tsp finely grated lemon zest along with the rice. Convenience Swap: Use frozen green beans instead of fresh ones; add to skillet along with rice instead of with the broth.
