Sweet and Savory Mango

Sweet: The sweetness of a juicy mango makes it an obvious mix-in for a great dessert. Prepare some Mango Sticky Rice the next time you need a quick sweet treat!

Savory: It’s no surprise that mango – native to the tropics – is common in savory Caribbean and Asian dishes. Mango adds a touch of sweetness which is a great complement to spicy peppers. Add a mango salsa to spicy tacos, and take them to the next level! Or, for an unforgettable blend of flavors, try this easy Coconut Curry Mango Rice.

Mango Herb Pairing

Along with tomatoes, mangos go very well with cilantro. This peppery herb has a bit of a zing, complementing the sweetness of the juicy fruit. To sweeten up guacamole or pico de gallo made with cilantro, simply fold in some mango. You can also skip a step with our seasoned rice! Our Cilantro & Lime Jasmine Rice goes well in this Black Beans and Rice Mango Salad. It would also give an extra boost of flavor to our Spicy Mango Chicken.
