All About Canned Artichokes

When it comes to artichokes, luckily there are lots of frozen, canned, or marinated choices. However, can they replace a fresh artichoke heart?

Even the most basic canned artichokes, which are only preserved in salt and water, have a tart acidity that makes them a wonderful accompaniment to both rich, substantial entrees and vegetable sides.

You can slice and incorporate canned artichokes into a quick dinner like chicken or tuna salad, or you can use them as a vegetarian alternative to the protein entirely.

How to Grate Parmesan in Less than One Minute

Begin by cutting a wedge of your preferred Parmesan cheese. Make numerous cubes of cheese. No specific knife expertise is required!

Toss the cubes into the blender and pulse until the cheese is broken down into your desired size. That’s it. No special equipment or hand grating that wedge of Parmesan.

If you have any leftover grated Parmesan you can store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. Try some out in our Garlic Parmesan Rice Bowl or our Rice Stuffed Eggplant Parmesan.
