Ingredients

  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups chopped, cooked turkey
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 cups frozen broccoli florets, thawed
  • 2 cups Minute® White Rice
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • A classic pairing, this Cheesy Broccoli Rice and Turkey dish is a quick, simple and delicious dinner to enjoy with your family.

    Step 1

  • Coat a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray and heat on medium-high. Cook onion, stirring, for 5 minutes, or until tender.

    Step 2

  • Add turkey, broth and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low.

    Step 3

  • Stir in broccoli and rice and cover. Simmer for 5 minutes, until broccoli is crisp-tender. Top with cheese.

    Step 4

  • Remove from heat. Let stand, covered, for 5 minutes, or until rice is tender and cheese is melted.

    Recipe Tip

    Substitute Minute® Instant Jasmine Rice for white rice.

    No turkey? No problem! Replace the turkey in the recipe with an equal amount of cooked, rotisserie chicken.
