Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
  • 3 cups chopped broccoli
  • 2 cups Minute® White Rice
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • parsley (optional)

Instructions

  • It doesn’t get any easier or more delicious for your weeknight dinner than this One-Pot Beef and Rice Skillet. Ready in just 15 minutes, it features some of your favorite classic flavors!

    Step 1

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add beef and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain off any excess fat.

    Step 2

  • Stir in water, Italian dressing and oregano. Bring to a boil.

    Step 3

  • Stir in broccoli and rice and cover. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, or until rice is tender. Sprinkle with cheese. Garnish with parsley, if using.
