Made with our Minute® Ready to Serve Butter & Sea Salt Rice, shredded chicken, mushrooms and cheese they make a perfect meal!
Enjoy a cheesy quesadilla in less than 10 minutes.
Step 1
Heat rice according to package directions.
Step 2
Heat a small pan on medium high heat and add butter. Sauté chicken and mushrooms for about 2 minutes. Combine chicken and mushrooms with the rice, then set aside.
Step 3
Heat a large skillet on medium high heat and add one tortilla. Flipping the tortilla over a few times until lightly browned, about 1 minute. Remove and repeat with other tortilla.
Step 4
Lower the heat to medium low. Add back one tortilla and add a quarter of the cheese on to the tortilla. Cover with lid and allow to melt for 1 minute.
Step 5
Add half of the chicken, mushroom and rice mixture. Place 1/4 more of the cheese on top followed by the other tortilla. Cover with lid for another minute to allow cheese to melt. Remove from heat.
Step 6
Repeat with the remaining ingredients. Cut both into wedges & serve.
Can be served with sour cream, guacamole, and/or salsa for dipping.
