Ingredients

  • 1 lb smoked turkey sausage, sliced
  • 2 cans (14.5 oz, each) stewed tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 tsp hot pepper sauce
  • 2 cups Minute® White Rice

Instructions

  • On busy weeknights, weekends or for special occasions, it’s hard to beat this 15 Minute Jambalaya. Chock-full of tasty ingredients, it’s hearty, wholesome and is sure to satisfy.

    Step 1

  • Combine sausage, tomatoes, water, bouillon and hot pepper sauce in a large, high-sided sauté pan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until bouillon is completely dissolved.

    Step 2

  • Stir in rice; cover. Cook for 5 minutes.

    Step 3

  • Fluff with a fork and serve.

    Recipe Tip

    If you want more vegetables in this dish, prepare as directed, adding 1 diced green bell pepper to the pan in Step 1.
