  • 1 lb mild or hot smoked sausage links, sliced
  • 2 cans (14.5 oz, each) stewed tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup water
  • 2/3 cup chopped celery
  • 2/3 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 2/3 cup chopped onion
  • 3 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 tsp hot or mild pepper sauce
  • 2 cups Minute® White Rice


  • Bring New Orleans to the dinner table tonight with this deliciously simple Kickin’ Jambalaya loaded with Minute® Instant White Rice, smoked sausage, vegetables, stewed tomatoes and your favorite pepper sauce.

    Step 1

  • Bring sausage, tomatoes, water, celery, green bell pepper, onion, bouillon cubes and pepper sauce to a boil in a large skillet. Simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until bouillon cubes are completely dissolved.

    Step 2

  • Stir in rice and cover. Cook on low heat for 5 minutes, or until rice is absorbed. Stir to blend well.
