  • 1 Minute® Sticky Rice Cup
  • ¼ cup crab meat or kani
  • 1 tbsp spicy mayo
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • Warm water (for rice forming)
  • 2 tbsp salt (for rice forming)
  • 2 strips nori


  • Step 1

  • Heat rice according to package directions. Allow rice to cool to lukewarm temperature.

    Step 2

  • In a small bowl combine crab, mayo, and soy sauce. Combine until paste-like. 

    Step 3

  • Divide rice into two even portions. In the center of each portion spoon in crab mixture.

    Step 4

  • Wet hands with water and add just over a pinch of salt to your palms. Rub salt evenly on your palm side of your hands.

    Step 5

  • Form the rice into a triangle shape with the mixture in the middle. Wrap the nori around the bottom of the triangle and serve.

    Recipe Tip

    If making multiple varieties of onigiri, place a little bit of each mixture on the tip of each triangle so that it can be differentiated from the others.
