  • In saucepan, combine soup and 1 canful of water; bring to boil over medium heat. Stir in rice and peas; remove from heat.

  • Cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Stir gently. Sprinkle with chives, or your chosen garnish.


Recipe Tips

Substitute: Prepare as directed, using reduced fat, reduced sodium cream of mushroom soup. Endless Flavor: Instead of cream of mushroom soup, try any variety of condensed soup, such as cheddar cheese, cream of broccoli or asparagus, or cream of bacon or onion soup. Veggie Switch-Up: Instead of peas, try finely chopped broccoli florets or red pepper, black beans, corn or shredded kale or baby spinach.
