What is Chutney?

Chutney is an Indian sauce that combines fruit, vinegar, sugar and spices. You can find several varieties of chutney in the international aisle of most grocery stores. Choose your favorite and make this dish your own by mixing it in with the creamy yogurt.

For a touch of authenticity, pair this dish with some store-bought naan bread, generally available in the international food section of your local grocery store.

If you’re not a fan of shrimp, simply swap it out for tofu or garbanzo beans to make this dish vegetarian. Or use shredded, cooked chicken.
