  • 1/2 cup Minute® Jasmine Rice
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream (or your favorite flavor)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 bananas
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 cinnamon sticks (optional)


  • This delightfully sweet, rich and ultra-creamy Rice Banana Horchata Shake is a delicious take on Mexican-style horchata that you will crave time and time again.

    Step 1

  • Prepare rice according to package directions. Cool completely, about 10 minutes.

    Step 2

  • Purée rice, ice cream, milk, bananas, and cinnamon in a blender, until smooth.

    Step 3

  • Divide mixture among 4 tall glasses. Sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon and garnish with cinnamon stick, if using.
