  • Stir in rice. Sprinkle with cheese and cover. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Top with lettuce and tomato just before serving. Serve with salsa, if using.

Fewer Dishes? Yes, Please!

Enjoy fresh veggies mixed with browned beef, taco seasoning and shredded Cheddar cheese, all blended with our fluffy Minute® Instant White Rice. If this doesn’t top your list of easy meal preps, we don’t know what will!

Aside from its simple prep, this one-pan dinner also makes a great packed lunch. Just separate the beef from the shredded lettuce, tomato and any other fresh veggies you’d like to add on top and pack everything to go.

Made in 15 minutes, with the help of our Minute® Instant White Rice, this recipe can serve up to 4, making it an excellent option for small families in need of a quick weeknight meal.

The Extra Mile

Want to take this recipe a step further? Make some homemade tortilla bowls for added crunch and a great presentation. There are two popular ways to prepare crispy tortilla bowls, in the oven or in a deep fryer. Although it takes a bit longer than deep-frying, we recommend you use the oven method as it’s faster and less greasy.
