Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, cooked and sliced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper

  • 2 tbsp scallions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Step 1

  • In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. 

    Step 2

  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Pour the honey mixture into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 3 minutes or until the sauce thickens slightly.

  • Heat rice according to package directions. 

    Step 4

  • Place the chicken in the sauce to fully coat each piece. 

    Step 5

  • Serve chicken over the rice and enjoy.

    -Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for an additional 3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Slice the chicken and drizzle with the honey sauce.
