Ingredients

  • 2 Minute® Butter & Sea Salt Jasmine rice cups
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cans (6 oz. each) crab meat, drained, flaked
  • 2 Tbsp seafood seasoning
  • 4 Tbsp butter or margarine
  • lemon wedge (optional)

Instructions

  • For a taste of the coast, try these Crab and Jasmine Rice Cakes. Filled with rich crab meat and infused with aromatic jasmine rice, they offer a delightful meal that truly satisfies.

    Step 1

  • Heat rice according to package directions.

    Step 2

  • Beat eggs lightly in a medium bowl. Add rice, crab meat and seasoning; mix well. Refrigerate for 5 minutes. Shape into 8 patties.

    Step 3

  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add patties; cook 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and heated through. Serve with fresh lemon wedges.

    Recipe Tip

    Substitute 12 ounces canned salmon. To serve as appetizers, make patties bite-sized.

    Remoulade or tartar are perfect dipping sauces.

    Use large lettuce leaves as a bed to place the cakes on top and can be used as a lettuce wrap.
