Cooking with Minute® Rice

Meals are easy with Minute® Instant Products. Simply cooked. then dried. Nothing added but convenience. Learn how to cook delicious rice on the stove or in the microwave in just a few minutes.

STOVE:

  • BOIL water. ADD rice, stir, cover & remove from heat.
  • WAIT 5 minutes, or until water is absorbed, then fluff.

Servings*:

  • 2 Servings = 1 Cup White Rice & 1 Cup Water
  • 4 Servings = 2 Cups White Rice & 2 Cups Water
  • 6 Servings = 3 Cups White Rice & 3 Cups Water

MICROWAVE:

  • PLACE water and rice in microwave-safe bowl.
  • COVER, Microwave on HIGH. WAIT 5 minutes, or until water is absorbed, then fluff.

Microwave Cook Times**:

  • 2 Servings = 6 minutes
  • 4 Servings = 8 minutes
  • 6 Servings = 10 minutes

MICROWAVE:

  • PLACE water and rice in microwave-safe bowl.
  • COVER, Microwave on HIGH. WAIT 5 minutes, or until water is absorbed, then fluff.

Microwave Cook Times**:

  • 2 Servings = 6 minutes
  • 4 Servings = 8 minutes
  • 6 Servings = 10 minutes

STOVE:

  • ADD water and rice to saucepan. Add oil, if desired.
  • BOIL water, reduce heat to medium, cover and simmer 10 minutes or until water is absorbed, then fluff.
  • REMOVE from heat. Fluff with fork.

Servings*:

  • 2 Servings = 1 Cup Brown Rice & 1 Cup Water
  • 4 Servings = 2 Cups Brown Rice & 2 Cups Water
  • 6 Servings = 3 Cups Brown Rice & 3 Cups Water

  • 4 Servings = 2 Bags Rice & Quinoa  & 2 Cups Water

MICROWAVE:

  • PLACE water and contents of bag in microwave-safe bowl. Add oil if desired.
  • COVER, Microwave on HIGH. WAIT until water is absorbed, then fluff.
